Магістри спеціальності «прикладна лінгвістика», члени наукової проблемної групи «Переклад» завершили роботу над перекладом навчальних відео в рамках проекту «Маю думку: Навчальний онлайн курс для молодіжних рад локального рівня», який був втілений громадською організацією «Молодіжна платформа» та підтриманий Представництвом Фонду Ганса Зайделя в Україні та Міністерством молоді та спорту України.
Здійснений переклад з української на англійську мову слугуватиме субтитрами до навчальних відео-роликів про роль, формування та функціонування молодіжних рад в Україні. Завданням студентів було не лише перекласти отримані тексти, а й передати емоції та драйв спікерів й адаптувати промови до сприйняття їх носіями інших лінгвокультур, зокрема польської та німецької. Керівниками перекладацької практики були доценти кафедри прикладної лінгвістики Бондар Т.Г. та Рогач О.О. Зазначимо, що така співпраця з нашою кафедрою відбувається не вперше, а триває майже 10 років. Дякуємо «Молодіжній платформі» та Захарію Ткачуку за цікавий досвід роботи!

“I had a thrilling experience during my translation internship at the local NGO “Youth Platform“. I had a chance to do a translation for video script. The main challenge I had was to convey the meaning while using different techniques of translation. I enlarged and expanded my knowledge, improved my skills.”

“I would say that the practice turned out to be quite useful for me. I got to know about the role of the public organization and understood its significant importance for the youth as a whole. The translation itself I found informative with high content of specialized expressions. I had to deal with abbreviations in translation as well.
