EUROPEAN UNION LANGUAGE POLICY: SECOND YEAR LAUNCH

On Monday, February 11, 2019, the department of Applied Linguistics launched the second year of the Erasmus+ Jean Monnet’s project implementation. Around 60 students of Applied Linguistics and English Philology departments signed up for the classes on European Union Language Policy.

Project coordinator, Applied Linguistics Department Head Iryna Biskub introduced the students into the structure of the studying course, studying objectives and expected teaching results. Project lecturer, Vice-Rector Anna Danylchuk specified the new perspectives in the development of the European Union which produce the profound impact on the EU language policy and communication strategy.

The first lecture and the upcoming two ones will be delivered by another project lecturer, Head of the International Relations Department Marta Sydoruk.
